With over 630 games, Adolfo is the goalkeeper with the most matches played in the history of the Mexican First Division.

Adolfo's 18 year professional soccer career demonstrates the great amount of dedication, professionalism, leadership, dependability, and longevity that he poured into his career. All of these qualities earned Adolfo the opportunity to represent the Mexican National Team and become the starting goalkeeper for his country during the World Cup qualification process to France 1998. During this process Adolfo did not allow a single goal to be scored against him and helped Mexico qualify to France 1998 with two qualification matches left to play.
Adolfo was always able to help the teams he played for find success and win championships.
